Can't mount drive

Can not mount my Passport SSD drive to Mac error 119930868.

It's brand new. It was visible for a while and after few days it disappeared from finder. It shows in disk utility as unmounted. I could not force mount.

Hi schottmee,

There are a few steps you can take if you are unable to mount your external drive.

Be sure that it is formatted to be read by macOS. If not, formatted correctly, it can cause the issue you are currently facing. Check out: File system formats available in Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support.

You can find some additional troubleshooting steps you can take for external drives here: Repair a storage device in Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support.

Have a good one!
