Old Apple iD

You would need to be able to sign in to the old Apple ID in order to access the apps.

If you have forgotten the Apple ID or password, this would be a good resource to start with: If you forget your Apple ID or password – Apple Support

If you are able to sign in again with the old Apple ID, you can then follow the steps here to share app purchase with Family Sharing: Use a different Apple ID to share purchases with Family Sharing - Apple Support

"Change the Apple ID that you use for purchase sharing on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You can change the Apple ID that you use to share purchases with your Family Sharing group once every 90 days.

1. Tap Settings > [your name], then tap Family Sharing.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Account.
4. Erase the Apple ID that's listed, then enter the Apple ID and password that you want to use.
5. Tap Use This Account."

If you are unable to reset the password of the Apple ID that was originally used to download the apps and sign in, then you will need to delete the apps and download them with your current Apple ID that's being used.

Anytime you want to change the Apple ID you are using, be sure to follow the steps found in Change your Apple ID - Apple Support. It will walk you through so you will be able to keep all that's associated with your account.
