TV shows stuck in “preparing to download” in iTunes
I have purchased a new iPad and a three TV episodes have gotten stuck in the “preparing to download” stage of moving my data from the cloud.
I have updated to latest OS, I have logged out and back in to my Apple ID in iTunes Store, have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes app, switched on and off download over wifi option, have logged in to iTunes on my computer and my iPhone (the downloads do not appear as stuck using the Apple ID on any other device). I have returned to my purchase history and confirmed date and receipt information for season pass. When I download other episodes of TV shows and movies, whilst they are downloading or before they start I can select edit at top left of iTunes Store downloads screen and then next to all other episodes is a radio button that I can select and subsequently delete the episode from the downloads queue, except for the the three episodes permanently stuck downloading. In the appleTV app the stuck episodes have a spinning ball next to them, but it does not respond to clicking to stop the download request (as it does when I try to download a non-stuck episode). The three episodes that are stuck are from different purchase dates and different TV shows. I’ve restarted the iPad and logged out of the AppleID for the whole iPad, nothing has any impact on the stuck episodes. As a result the ipad crashes constantly. Is there a solution to to specifically and only “deleting tv shows stuck preparing to download in apple iTunes Store and causing a spinning ball and crashing Apple TV in downloads section” I have reviewed all previous questions and none of the support steps address this problem, they talk about stuck applications not stuck tv show downloads so are irrelevant.
