I just got a watch and have a question about the Ring app (as in security cameras). I’ve noticed that when I wear the watch, I don’t receive any audible alerts on my iPhone (when someone’s at the door, etc), but only get them on my watch. Is there a way to change this? I rely on the sound coming through my phone - it lets my dogs know when someone’s on my property. Thanks

No, not any that are easy anyway. This is how Apple has designed the notifications to work.
Yes, but you have to shut off "Wrist Detection" in order to do it. You will lose a bunch of features if you shut off wrist detection and also, your watch will not be secure anymore.

Well, hopefully the dogs bark when they’re home alone, haha, but it’s not just about the door chime. Our home is large and the property is remote. We have several cameras to alert us if anyone is on the property before they actually get to the door, so often the Ring alerts occur before the dogs have noticed
I recommend the Chime. I never found the notification on the phone loud enough and don't always carry my phone with me every where in the house. The Chime solved the problem. My house is small so one is sufficient but, if your house is large, I believe you can add more.

Seriously, I got the Ring Doorbell Chime as it means I can hear the doorbell even with no phone. It's great.
That is by design. No. You can’t change it.
