how do i get my phone to make the noise alert while I am wearing my apple watch?

Ring app alerts aren’t sounding on iPhone when wearing Apple Watch I just got a watch and have a question about the Ring app (as in security cameras). I’ve noticed that when I wear the watch, I don’t receive any audible alerts on my iPhone (when someone’s at the door, etc), but only get them on my watch. Is there a way to change this? Notifications on iPhone when wearing Apple Watch PLEASE APPLE….LET US HAVE THE OPTION TO CHOOSE SOUNDS ON iPHONE WHEN WEARING THE APPLE WATCH. You don't. While wearing the Apple Watch, notifications go to the Watch if the iPhone is locked. If the iPhone is open and in use, then notifications go to the iPhone. You cannot get notifications on both devices at the same time. See the information here. Notifications on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
