I can't delete an app using finder or launchpad. How can I delete it?

I downloaded an app along time ago: Freeform. I never use it and want to delete it. I can't drag it to the trash. If I use the finder, the option "move to trash" is greyed out. and when I use launchpad, to make the apps jiggle, it's one of the few that doesn't have an x in the corner.
