How do you disable news+ in the Apple news app?
I have no desire to ever use this and it's just spamming me articles I would never read.
For now I just switched to Google news. Normally I use both but this seems to be blatant mass spam. I hope there is a way, It's kind of sad such a wealthy company needs to force feed spam with no option to disable.

As long as you don't have a subscription to Apple News you can just remove the App from your phone. If you do have a subscription you're going to have to cancel the subscription before you remove the App or you will continue to be charged the subscription.
If you don't have the subscription and you wish to remove the app, you can do this by simply holding your finger on the app on the home screen that it is located on. All the apps will start to wiggle and you will get a sub-menu with the option "Remove App". Just click on that and follow the prompts. When you're all finished removing the apps that are on your phone just click on "Done" in the corner by where the clock is.

True. I could remove the application.
Again, this was not the request.
Whether by segregate or aggregation I would appreciate the separation without the bombardment of near compulsory subscription.
I do not want to see request(s) to subscribe. The momentary content is not worth the monetary harassment.
