Magsafe charger

My MagSafe charger isn’t charging anymore and John Lewis where I purchased it and which is still under guarantee need the serial number otherwise they can’t arrange a repair. I can’t see it any where on the product and I don’t have the original packaging would anyone have any ideas where I can find it. Many thanks
