Automator for extraction of text from images

Hi all, I am hoping to use Automator to set up a system for sorting photos based on the text extracted from images, like for example a series of photos with different people's name tags, and having Automator sort the photos of a group event into individual folders for each person (after lifting name from name tag). Is this realistically within the scope of Automator? I know that Macs already do a great job extracting text from images, now just how to utilize it in Automator.
