Songs skipping in download music from Apple Music on iPhone 14.

I downloaded music from Apple store on my phone and songs seem to be missing chunks of the songs in the middle of the song. The seamless transition during the skip is noticeable, but it is not jumping across the timer for the song.

Why are my Music downloads Inconsistent on iOS 18? I purchase a lot of music through iTunes. I have noticed a long term issue with downloading, which is inconsistent. That is, sometimes the song will automatically download onto my iPhone (iOS 18), sometimes I have to go in to my songs list and trigger downloading manually -- that can get very tedious. How can I stop Apple Music from skipping tracks on my iPhone? I have Apple Music subscription on my iPhone. Songs have started skipping like a scratched CD. Initially it was only one song on one playlist (a Made for You curated playlist) but now it’s random songs throughout my library— old, new, doesn’t matter. I thought the issue was downloads but I’ve removed and redownloaded entire playlists and albums with no impact. Thought the issue was CarPlay, nope started happening with AirPods and when playing through the phone speaker. Overall, the skipping issue is worsening. [Re-Titled by Moderator] I have an iPhone 13 Pro. I’m running the latest iOS 17.4.1 but this issue has been occurring since the previous update too.

If this occurs with a specific song or album, let's isolate the behavior a bit more. To do so, please delete the song or album from your library, then redownload it.
