Stop Photo Loading

Every photo I take seems to automatically upload to my Google photos on both my laptop and phone which makes my storage always reach max. Please help

Why is my photo library 3 times bigger on my phone than my MacBook Air?? For some reason I have all iCloud and storage optimization turned on but my phone continues to fill up with a massive photos library. 23gb to be exact. Why then would the same icloud photo library on my computer only be 7gb?? I'm stuck in a constant catch 22 of my photo library not being able to sync with iCloud because there's not enough storage on my phone meanwhile the whole point of me having storage optimization turned on is the create storage on my phone. This all started happening with iOS 16.

Photo Stream shutdown If Photo Stream is disappearing doe this mean you can no longer save your photos to your phone/iPad? Is the alternative to using iCloud downloading an app to store your photos?

Photos Need to decrease the megabytes of a photo to upload it for a profile picture.
