How can I delete data to free iCloud?

I am using my Desktop to access iCloud, which is fine.

I cannot find files to delete to save space, but my storage is full.

Can someone give me help, please?

Unable to remove 1.5 GB of used iCloud storage Hi, I'm unable to remove 1.5 GB of iCloud storage on my 5 GB of free account. Manage iCloud storage shows that 1.5 GB of storage is being used by iCloud drive, but I'm able to see anything on icloud.com. How do I delete files from my iCloud My iCloud is currently full and I’m not interested in expanding my storage capabilities. How do I go about removing and deleting files from my iCloud storage to free up space so that I can be truly optimized?
