iOS 16.2 causes constant Crashes and restarts. Any solutions?

I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Ever since I updated to iOS 16.2 about a week ago, my phone screen randomly freezes, even if I am not on the phone, and restarts the phone after a few minutes. I wish I never updated my phone. I have seen many people complain about this issue, but apple has not acknowledged it. Does anybody have a solution? I do not have any sort of computer, so downgrading wouldn’t work for me currently.

Hello -MrMoneybags-,

Since your iPhone is restarting unexpectedly you'll want to take the steps below:

Check your software

Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and that your apps are up to date. If the issue continues after updating your software and apps, check your hardware.

Check your hardware

On an iPhone 6 or later, check your battery health under Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

If your battery doesn't need service, and your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch continues to frequently restart or turn off, contact Apple Support.

If your apps quit unexpectedly, learn what to do.

If your device has a frozen screen, doesn't respond, or becomes stuck when you turn it on, learn what to do for iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch.

You can also find those steps in this resource: If your iOS or iPadOS device restarts or displays the Apple logo or a spinning gear unexpectedly

Should that behavior still persist, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support: Contact - Official Apple Support They'll be in the best position to look into your options further.

Take care.
