Screen freezing issue on my iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 18.5

iPhone 14 Pro Max screen freeze's periodically anyone else having this issue? And is there a resolution? Have the most updated iOS 18.5 found after it was updated this started. Yes force resetting it taking the freezing away but it just continues to happen which is quite annoying

It surely is not iOS 18.5 because...

I conducted a thorough search of this forum using the term 'Screen Freezing after iOS' and uncovered numerous posts detailing similar issues across various iOS updates. This suggests that iOS updates may not consistently be the root cause. Below are a handful of examples extracted from over 3500+ search results:

"After iOS 18.5" will be an addition to this list posted by you.

This is surely is a device specifc issue.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

Was/Is your device Jailbroken? If that's the situation, please be informed that attributing the issues to iOS updates may not be accurate.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

o my phone is not jail broken, and never has been and I’m only thinking it might be the iOS update because that’s the only thing that’s changed about my phone since the issue started happening. I’ve already done all the trouble shooting tasks I can do and it still freezes from time to time. I’ve also looked at a couple posts and other people have issues with the iPhone 14 line of phones screens freezing after updates or just in general which if that’s the case as I’ve seen multiple people say they’ve had the issue. Was just wondering if anyone else was having the issue it’s probably just the phone 🤷🏼‍♀️ my phone is always backed up before I do any updates so I don’t think that is the issue plus there is no current update I can do besides a beta and I’m not interested. There also no issues in my setting that I can see as everything has stayed the same for last couple of years besides updating the iOS of course.

There probably is no solution at the moment because i could be the only one with the issue as I haven’t seen any recent posts about iPhone 14s which is fine it’s not a big deal just more so annoying than anything lol but thanks for replying and trying to help!
