Do I need malware protection on my iPad Air 3? I'm somewhat confused. Virus entrapment Received a pop-up message purporting to be an official instruction from Apple, but it was not, that encouraged me to download an app to cleanup a purported virus, displaying a countdown. Happened when I clicked on an Instagram link that then took me to Fortunately, I ignored & continued. It is the 2nd such attempt. Considering deleting Threads.
