Apple Watch unable to show live heart rate on watch face

I have searched over and over for hours upon hours; but I am dissapointed. Apparently it is impossible to show the actual current heart rate on the front face of an Apple Watch....Is that true? I am not talking about adding a complication that you have to click and wait 10 seconds for heart beat to show up. I am talking about the actual number of the heart beat being displayed on the front face. Please direct me to if this is possible or not.

Hello ross_dorothy,

You may opt to submit your feedback to Apple using the dedicated feedback site here: Product Feedback - Apple

You may also opt to reach out to Apple Support's Advisors that specialize in that area here for guidance: Apple Support

If you haven't yet, it may also be beneficial to see if any third-party apps help with the desired functionality.

Cheers.

The Hearr Rate app shows it in real time (updates every 3 or 4 seconds) but you don't have enough battery to do it all day. Taking heart rate needs a lot of LED and infra-red light

The "1m ago" refers to recordings not displays. Background readings are recorded for you all day and shown on a graph.

Run a workout like indoor weight training or outdoor walk and it displays all the time but again not for 18 hours.
