I just got a new apple watch 8. I seems to auto dim in a darker room and gets nice and bright in a better lit room. Is this normal? I had a 6 and a 7 and dont recall this issue. Is there a way to turn this off?

There is no setting to turn the Ambient Light Sensor off.
