Asking siri to set a calendar appointment

When i ask siri to schedule an appointment for me, she asks for confirmation of the appointment, when I confirm i get a response of "still working on that" or "something went wrong" or something similar. it happens when I use both Wifi and cellular. I have also confirmed that my calendar default is set to my personal mail account/calendar. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Hey there Anon_appleuser,

Those are some great steps to have tried already! We'd like to continue ruling out some other possible causes, along with confirming more details to better understand what's happening:

  1. When ddid this first start to occur when trying to confirm the appointment you scheduled with Siri?
  2. Any issues with confirming other things you ask Siri to do, such as sending a text message?
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  4. We see you're using a compatible model, and the latest version for your iPhone would be iOS 16.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.

Cheers!
