Can we use forward and rewind buttons on keyboard to control films on YouTube?

I remember at some point I could use the rewind (F7) and forward (F9) buttons on the keyboard to switch to the previous or next films on YouTube. However they don't work anymore. Only the play/pause (F8) button works. I'm referring to the keyboard on a MacBook Pro M1 14-inch (macOS Monterey 12.6.2).

Can anyone help to confirm whether F7 and F9 should be able to control films on YouTube?
