Can not resubscribe to iCloud+

I recently was unable to renew automatically due to not updating new card information. Now when I attempt to resubscribe, it allows me to log into my apple ID and then if it’s shows a “connecting to card/bank authorisation” but then it just takes me directly to the App Store.

2. Update your iPhone to rule out the older software: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

3. Check to see if the issue persists on a different internet connection.
