2 Apple IDs associated with different regions

Eric Root said here in January 20 that it is possible to have 2 IDs in the App Store and then switch between them for purchases in each region (in my case U.K. and Spain) My main ID is U.K. one. The post omits to say how and where to create the 2nd ID (to use to download / purchase apps in the Spanish App Store) - without replacing my main U.K. ID! Can anybody help please ? Many thanks NB I mostly use my iPhone but have an iPad too

I have not seen any Apple reference to a 30 day time limit for running apps. In fact if anything Apple says to download apps from your first country so you can continue to use them:

"Redownload your apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books on any devices that you might use to play or read them in the future. Some types of content might not be available in your new country or region. (Learn what types of content and services are available in your new country or region. - Availability of Apple Media Services - Apple Support )"

In my experience apps continue to run until they stop working because of age. The main thing that might happen is apps do tend to age after a while and require updating if the services offering the apps change things on their end. There is no fixed time and I have some apps that are 7 years old and still work.

The 2 ID method mentioned by Eric Root only really works if you are primarily interested in apps from the country to which the other Apple ID is set. You cannot connect to the stores in two countries at the same time.

In terms of what Eric was describing, you create a second Apple ID and then log into the App Store using that ID but keep you main ID for everything else.

Based on my experience, you can use both AppleID accounts (not recommended) but they cannot be synced or merged. If you moving to another country you can change the region in your account settings.

So what happens when you have 2 accounts on a single device? Applications that you download with the account will stay on your device and will be possible to open/run for the next ~30 days, but to update it you will be prompted to enter the password of that account (if it's not your current account). Still, only apps of your current account will be working after those 30 days, as Apple checks the certificates of the app every time to open/run the application and when it found that your current account is mismatched with an account that was used to download the app, it will show your error that app cannot be opened. This applies to iOS and macOS for apps downloaded from AppStore only.

I didn't try to change accounts every month, but I guess it could work (if you are patient enough).
