Missing Albums and Songs?

There was a question in June of 2022 from a user who was re-purchasing albums from iTunes that were missing from their library so they download and listen to their music.

I just ran into this exact same problem myself. At first I thought it was 3 albums, but then I started going through and looking through all of my past purchases and have found over a dozen missing albums. I spent over an hour on the phone with Apple support and they are not sure what is going on. I am supposed to get a call back.

If others are having this issue - call. Apple needs to know there is a bigger problem out there and not just make more money from people rebuying albums.

If you are still using the same Apple ID, are in the same country, and the content is still available, you should be able to redownload fresh copies at no charge. Follow the steps in here:

Did they explain why you cannot re-download as the document states?

They said they needed to escalate to their engineers and would call me back. I’m waiting for that call.
