Can't download Shazam by using Microsoft Edge Extensions Store

We understand that you'd like to download Shazam by using Microsoft Edge Extensions Store.

Although Shazam isn't available via the Microsoft Edge Extensions Store, you can visit the " Shazam extension page on the Google Chrome Web Store" to use the Google Chrome extension for Shazam as outlined here: Identify a song using Shazam on the web

"If you’re using a Chromium web browser (such as Google Chrome) on your Mac or PC, you can install the Shazam Chrome extension to identify songs directly in a browser tab by clicking a Shazam icon.

When you use the Chrome extension to identify music, Shazam scans audio from the current browser tab, not from speakers or from the microphone.

Note: Make sure you’re using the latest version of your web browser.

1. In a Chromium web browser on your Mac or PC, go to the Shazam extension page on the Google Chrome Web Store.
2. Click Add to [your browser], then click “Add extension” in the dialog that appears.
3. The Shazam Chrome extension is added to your browser.
4. In the browser toolbar, click the Extensions button, then click the pin icon next to Shazam.
5. The Shazam icon  is added to the browser toolbar.
6. In a browser tab that’s playing music, click the Shazam icon in the toolbar to identify the song.
7. Optional: Do any of the following:

• See your previously identified songs: Click the Shazam icon in the toolbar, click  to show your songs, then scroll the list. Songs identified using the Shazam app or on shazam.com do not appear in the list.
• Listen to the song on shazam.com: Click the song in the Shazam result.
• Listen to the song in Apple Music on the web: Click the Open in Apple Music button.
• If you’re not already signed in to Apple Music, click the Connect Apple Music button, sign in using your Apple ID, then follow any onscreen instructions to allow Shazam access to Apple Music and to listen to full songs.
  • Note: To listen to full songs and watch full videos you must be an Apple Music subscriber. See the Apple Support article Join Apple Music."
