Video timeline scrolling issue

I have a MBP M1Max 64 running Ventura and a Magic Mouse. When I have a YouTube video open and I move my mouse to type in another window, the video automatically scrolls in the timeline in whatever direction I move my mouse. How can I turn this off? Very annoying. Thank you in advance.

Quicklook video issue- with trackpad Macbook Pro 16" (2019) with MacOS Ventura. I must be crazy since I googled the issue and could not find one that is similar to my issue. Before updating the MacOS Ventura, when I pressed the spacebar on any video files to "QuickLook" I was able to speed the video forward/backward with the trackpad (two fingers slide either right or left). Now with the current MacOS, I could not do it. It works if I use the two fingers and quickly "tap-slide" but not manually control the speed like before. I noticed "live text" on the lower right corner of the QuickLook which I thought is the cause of it so I disabled it. No change.

Scrolling Issue in Stocks App After Sonoma Install (MacBook Pro) After installing macOS Sonoma, the scrolling list in the Stocks app jumps upward every so seconds, assuming you've already scrolled down. For example, if I scroll all the way to the bottom, just sit back, don't touch the trackpad or mouse, and about every 12-15 seconds, the list jumps upward about 20% of the list. It will keep doing this until it is back at the top. Gets annoying after a while. Any ideas on how to correct this? Thx! 2021 16" MacBook Pro, Apple M1 Pro, macOS Sonoma 14.1.2

Try clicking anywhere on the webpage outside of the video and then go to the URL field to type in the new address. That's what I have to do occasionally.
