DVD Plays with green screen

I have certain DVDs that play with green screen. There is sound but not video. Others work fine. I am wondering if there is an issue with my graphics card. They play on my older Mac. I can see where this is an issue with others, but I haven't been able to find a solution. I have MacBook Pro that I purchased in 2020. These videos work on my previous Mac that I purchased in 2016. I would really like them to work. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello neva52,

We'd update to the latest Big Sur version to test this further. If needed, create a backup of your data before updating the macOS: Update macOS on Mac

Or if your apps are compatible with Ventura, consider upgrading to Ventura: macOS Ventura is compatible with these computers

Test playing the DVDs to see if the issue continues after updating.

Should it persist, which macOS version are you using now? Does the video still playback with this green screen with audio? Are you watching this in the built-in DVD Player app on the Mac?
