WhatsApp voice messages do not play over HomePod

My WhatsApp voice messages do not play over HomePod. However any other audio does why? Thanks!

WhatsApp Recording With AirPods Hey all, I bought a couple weeks ago IPhone 14 Pro and AirPods Pro 2. While I’m playing music or watching videos with the AirPods and I want to record a voice message on WhatsApp the record turns out very bad with some static sound in the background and very low voice. If I’m manually stopping the media before recording the voice message the records working just fine. Is anyone noticed this as well? If it’s something that happens more maybe we should tell this to apple support so they can work on it on the next update?

Speakerphone not working in WhatsApp status after the 17.3 IOS update I use WhatsApp as a work tool and after the latest update to IOS 17.3 I can’t hear the WhatsApp status audio which uses the speakerphone, contacted WhatsApp and they said that I need to contact apple because their software simply uses the devices audio whichever it is, but it is impossible to contact apple specially if you have an old iPhone like my XS MAX which I am not planning to change, why fix what is not broken , but I think that apple breaks it for you through their updates , is anyone else experiencing speakerphone issues after the last update ??

Airpods pausing music for WhatsApp/Text messages Hi, Does anyone know how to stop my AirPod pros from pausing music because of a WhatsApp or message notification? Every single message the music will pause for around 10 seconds and then start again. I have no need for it to do this. thank you

It's great to hear that most audio is working as expected on your HomePod. If the issue has been isolated to a single app, it would probably be best to work with the developer of that app to see if this functionality is possible within their app. You can learn How to contact an app developer here.
