Having purchased new Sonos speakers 1SL they work fine with iphone/ipad using itunes music library but will not when using with my imac. when I choose the the Sonos speaker from the sounds menu it reverts back to the internal imac speakers.
On using the Sonos app for mac screen they will play Sonos radio stations ok.
Am I missing something here ? can I get my music from itunes into the Sonos app ?

I have taken the steps as per your reply but imac still reverts back to it's internal speakers.
I have now found the Sonos app for Mac download on their web page and then you can download the music library to the app, artist, albums, artwork etc is on there & everything is now working fine.

Same thing for me since the last macOS update.
Everything was fine with the previous version.
No solution found at this time :-(
Airplay not working on M1 imac/Sonos
