keynote exporting pages bigger than the slides on ipad

I’m making a digital planner with clickable links on Keynote for Goodnotes, on iPad. This is not my first time. I’ve made the same slides sizes for years and had no problem : around 2000 px height, 1000 width. But lately, I couldn’t find a way to export properly. It seems that my exported PDF is creating a bigger page size than my slides. Which means that on Goodnotes, the writing will become too small. The problem really comes from Keynote, as I’ve made a chat with Goodnotes and we discovered that the slides are way too big. But on that same planner, when I export one page from the pdf version as an image, the size is the actual size that I custom created in the first place (a little smaller than the screen size). I’ve tried every PDF export option as I want to keep my links clickable.

I need help please !

Thank you !

Thanks for your answer, but obviously I know how to export in PDF, as I also mentioned having tested all the export options. Also, I cannot contact Apple as I am hard of hearing, in Canada, and they only offer Call (not Chat) for the Keynote support. Which is why I posted here. Thank you for your time.

Hi ninie64,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you’re having an issue exporting your Keynote presentation to a PDF on your iPad.

We’re happy to assist.

We recommend checking out the steps in the section titled "Convert a Keynote presentation in Keynote on iPhone or iPad" from the article here: Convert Keynote presentations to PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint, and more

1) Open the presentation that you want to convert.
2) On iPhone, tap the More button . On iPad, tap the presentation name in the toolbar. If the presentation name is not shown in the toolbar, tap the More button.
3) Tap Export.
4) Choose a format for your presentation.
5) Choose how you want to send your file, like with Mail or Messages. Or to save the file on your device or to iCloud Drive, choose Save to Files, then choose a location.

We’re recommending the steps above because they directly address the issue you initially posted about: you’re having a problem exporting your Keynote presentation to a PDF on your iPad.

Should the issue continue, we recommend that you contact Apple Support directly so that they can work with you to find a solution.

You can reach them by clicking here: Apple Support or calling the most local number in your region: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support.

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
