Apple TV box no picture

My Apple TV is not showing a picture but can hear the sounds

it starts with picture for 30-45 seconds then freezes up

i have bought a new 4g hdmi cord

Keeps hanging and rebooting I had an earlier Apple TV 4K that had the same problem, hence I bought a new one that arrived today. This new Apple TV 4k is updated to the new OS version and connected to internet via cable. At random it freezes the picture on screen, the sound continues for some seconds and it hangs. After a bit of time it reboots and it continues to play again. Sometimes this happens several times before it continues again. Since this is a new TV 4k, it is not a hardware issue, my guess is the new OS!? How will this be solved?

Video issue between Apple TV 4K box and new samsung tv Hello first post. I have an apple 4K TV box in my basement it was hooked up to an older Samsung 39" Tv 5 series and the apple tv worked great on it. I purchased a new bigger Samsung TV 43" Au8000 series and same cables same hook up the apple box stops playing I get a blank screen green lines at times the video is choppy when I get a blank screen it just freezes/pauses no sound either. I rebooted the Apple box same issue. It seems to happen on one app in pustular than on other which is odd it's been running flawless on everything. the app it acts up the wort on it motortrend+ and it stops. no issues with the old TV but this one Yes. Looking for idea's when it first booted up the TV said making adjustments for a better picture quality.

Possibly the video settings (e.g. resolution or dynamic range) is not set right for the current screen.

I’m hinting at likely step 5 bringing a solution.

Try a different HDMI port on your TV if you have any.
