Not receiving Ask to Buy requests

Up until this week, I was receiving Ask to Buy requests from my family. I am no longer receiving these requests and have made no changes to the Family Sharing. I'm logged in with the parent Apple ID, Ask to Buy is selected for both children, and I'm using iOS version 16.1.1.

Any idea on how I can fix this issue?

Multiple ideas for things you can try:

Make sure the software is up to date on all devices involved.


Sometimes it helps to have the devices involved take a fresh look at settings:

● If this is a service, try disabling it and turning it back on.

● Try signing out of accounts and back in again.

Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac - Apple Support

Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support

● Restarting is a simple step that can resolve many unexpected behaviors.
