Logitech Circle View Doorbell Cameras No Longer Recording & Notifying Apple TVs
I installed Logitech Circle View doorbell cameras about 18 months ago. They worked fantastically until recently. I have two problems which I believe are independent:
- They stopped sending notifications to my Apple TVs. Notifications still come through to my iPads and iPhones, but nothing to any of my Apple TVs. I've gone into the Apple TV settings for HomeKit and have verified that they're set to receive doorbell notifications; and I've tried toggling this feature on/off. So far, nothing has been able to bring the Apple TV notifications back.
- They are no longer recording video. I signed up for Apple Premier when I purchased these, so memory should not be an issue. The strange thing is that the recording timeline which allowed me to go to past activity has completely disappeared from from the HomeKit user interface for the doorbell on all of my iPads and iPhones. I can see live activity, but there's no way to go back in time. I've tried switching recording on/off but to no avail.
I tried suggestions from older entries from ~2 years ago, but none of those have worked so far. Thought that I would try to see if there are any other perspectives.
I don't think that it's a Logitech issue because the same thing happened simultaneously to both of my doorbells. I also use HomeKit to control my thermostats, and that is working great. My iCloud subscription is active/current per Apple One Premier. Maybe it's something with my Orbi mesh router? But, that seems odd to me since all of these features worked fine for the better part of a year. I'd appreciate any suggestions or insight!
