Help to set up my shared library

I cannot set up the shared photo library. I’m getting several messages, on my iPhone I’m getting the following message “the shared library cannot be set up” and cannot move any further.

On my iPad I’m able to set it up but when I send the invitation to my family members they cannot access it and they’re getting the following message “the library is not shared anymore or you don’t have permissions to access it”.

Is anyone experiencing this problem?

I had the same trouble when I first set up the shared iCloud Photos Library. The problem is, that you can only set up and join one shared library. You cannot set up a new shared library while you are still sharing a failed attempt. What helped in my case has been to move all photos back to the personal library and stop sharing the library on the device where I first tried to share a library. Then leaving the shared library on all devices.

once there were no traces of the shared library have ben visible on all devices my devices and the family members, I checked for any system updates and installed them, then tried again to share a library.

Start by sharing a single photo, not all photos at once. Share a duplicate that you can sacrifice, if you should need to wipe the shared library again. Your family members must not try to create an own shared library or they cannot join your library.
