I get an error message when trying to use my phone as a FaceTime camera: FaceTime has not received any video from the connected camera. Restarting your computer may fix this issue.
Restarting did not fix it, and I can find no answers on the "Community".
How about if Apple answers questions about their hardware/software? That would be cool.

If you read the term of service you singed up for you would know that there is no Apple here in these user to user technical forum. Continuity Camera: Use iPhone as a webcam for Mac - Apple Support
I wasn't suggesting that they would answer here as I am able to discern between Apple support vs. user support. I am dumb, but not that dumb. The point is, none of the support info addresses this problem although I've seen it reported several times.
