How to remove location from control centre in ios 16

So that we can best assist you, we'd like to confirm exactly what you're seeing. So you open Control Center on your iPhone and you're seeing apps listed there that were deleted? What kind of apps are you seeing?

As a start, you might want to check out your app settings for Location Services under Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, where you can adjust the settings by app: Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Are you sure those apps were deleted and not just removed from your Home screen? Go to the App Library (the last page of the Home screen and tap Search to see an alphabetical list of apps.

I’m noticing the same thing. iPhone 12; iOS 16.2. Very annoying. The only solution I found was to reboot my phone. Once restarted, the deleted apps won’t show up.
