Notification for AOL Contacts Password

Hi, I use AOL on my macbook pro. I have this slightly annoying notification that appears in the upper right corner of my screen. It prompts me for the email account's contacts password? Ironically I am getting mail through the accounts. Help, anyone?

I have all of the email accounts set up in the email app at the bottom of my screen on my laptop, pardon my ignorance but I assume is iCloud email.

Hey CyberGrunt,

It looks like you checked out the article on what to do if your iCloud Mail isn't working. Did you try entering your password to where it prompts you? If yes, what happens when you entered your password?

If you haven't yet, try restarting your device to see if it helps. Additionally, you can try quitting the Mail app and reopening it to see. Follow these steps below:

1. Take either of these actions:

- Press these three keys together: Option (or Alt), Command, Esc (Escape).*
- Or choose Force Quit from the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen.

2. A Force Quit window opens. Select the app that you want to quit, then click Force Quit.

You can even force the Finder to quit, if it stops responding: Select Finder in the Force Quit window, then click Relaunch.
