USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter won't work with my iPad

hello I got a usb multiport adaptor for usb-A connections and hdmi. its works well on my Mac but the Hdmi port does not work on my iPad. every port works on my iPad except that. I searched about it and I couldn't find anything. I also tried it on another 3 iPads but the Hdmi port does not work on them. but it can't be the port because it connects to Mac and I can connect it to the tv. IT JUST DOES NOT CONNECT TO MY IPAD. if anyone has any suggestions please say .

There appears to be more and more Apple Support community postings on this issue.

Apparently, there is still a problem with all Apple HDMI video adapters on iPadOS 16.1 or 16.2.

Hopefully, Apple will, soon, fix this issue, in a future iPadOS 16 update.
