Apple TV and HomePods No Sound

Not getting sound from HomePods when using Apple TV unless I keep resetting. I’ve had this set up for years with no problems. I’m now also having issues using the remote on my phone for Apple TV. It’s 100% a software issue. When is apple going to fix this?

My apple tv airplay audio is not in sync with my homepods My apple tv is hooked up to a nice sound system and the sound keeps getting out of sync with my homepods. When I do Wireless Audio Sync in the apple tv settings, it works until the apple tv is restarted. While it still shows calibrated, it will be out of sync to the exact same degree like before and have to be recalibrated. So basically, though showing differently, it loses calibration every time. anyone else having this issue?

Apple TV shows AirPods Pro connected but it still uses the TV speaker Can somebody please tell me how to fix this apart from turning the TV off for 5 mins then turning it back on or is it the only fix that Apple wants us to do? It’s been 6 months or more since I first experienced such a bug and still it is present. Or is this a hardware or software issue? Ive tried to reset my connection and repaired with the airpods, still did not work.

HomePod + Apple TV still doesn’t work I just updated both Apple TV and HomePod to the latest version and they STILL don’t work together. The volume still doesn’t work and HomePod still won’t connect as a default speaker - I have to go in settings every time to choose HomePod as a speaker and and the volume wont respond at all on the Apple remote when connect to the Apple TV. I have reported this many times over the past year and a couple updates have gone by now already and still nothing. At this point I give up and considering going back to my Bose Revolve speaker which worked flawlessly every time. Glad I didn’t buy more HomePods before I found this out.

If you are having difficulty with your HomePods, begin by following the guidance found here:

If HomePod mini or HomePod isn't responding

"Restart HomePod mini or HomePod

Open the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's signed in with the Apple ID that you used to set up HomePod.
Tap or click HomePod.
Tap or click the Settings icon , scroll down, then tap or click Restart HomePod.

If HomePod still doesn't respond, reset it.

If HomePod mini or HomePod still isn't responding

If you still have issues using HomePod, contact Apple Support."
