Apple TV and HomePods No Sound

Not getting sound from HomePods when using Apple TV unless I keep resetting. I’ve had this set up for years with no problems. I’m now also having issues using the remote on my phone for Apple TV. It’s 100% a software issue. When is apple going to fix this?

If you are having difficulty with your HomePods, begin by following the guidance found here:


If HomePod mini or HomePod isn't responding


"Restart HomePod mini or HomePod

  1. Open the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's signed in with the Apple ID that you used to set up HomePod.
  2. Tap or click HomePod.
  3. Tap or click the Settings icon , scroll down, then tap or click Restart HomePod.


If HomePod still doesn't respond, reset it.


If HomePod mini or HomePod still isn't responding


If you still have issues using HomePod, contact Apple Support."
