Numbers is crashing on my macbook

I updated Numbers a couple weeks ago, and now, I can't seem to get the app to stay open for longer than 5 sec. It keeps crashing. Anyone else have this issue?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.0

That's rare and abnormal behavior. To troubleshoot/fix you can try:

Restarting your Mac.
Making sure you have updated to the latest version of macOS and Numbers that your hardware can support. I'm running Numbers 12.2.1 under macOS Ventura 13.1.

Another troubleshooting step to try.

If there was a document open in Numbers the last time you quit the app, Numbers will try to reopen that document. It is possible that the document is corrupt. To bypass reopening documents, hold down the Shift key ⇧ while launching Numbers.
