While my wife shows up as invitee (and marked as resident) on my home app she still doesn’t see anything on her app. She was seing it and using it correctly before the matter upgrade. Also I can’t remove her to try and reinvite.

I’ve run into this same problem. I made the mistake of removing the home to try to initially resolve the problem. Trying to reinvite did not work for me either. The app gets stuck while “joining home” then eventually fails to accept invitation.
I think a lot of users happen to have a “my home” home they inadvertently created when playing around with the app in the past. This prevents an “upgraded” shared home from working. They have to upgrade their own “my home” to the new architecture to get the upgraded shared home to work.
