iPhone 12 keeps freezing and restarting

My phone is about 1.5 years old and I’ve never had a problem like this. Ever since iOS 16.2 came out, it freezes and restarts every 15 minutes. I wanted to do a factory reset but it can’t even stay alive long enough for me to back it up and it’s also not being recognized when I connect it to my computer (I tried reinstalling iTunes, changing cords, nothing works). I’m not sure what to do please help!!!

fyi I have a lot of storage left and the phone doesn’t even stay alive long enough to update it.

Check your software

Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and that your apps are up to date. If the issue continues after updating your software and apps, check your hardware.

Check your hardware

On an iPhone 6 or later, check your battery health under Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

If your battery doesn't need service, and your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch continues to frequently restart or turn off, contact Apple Support.

If your apps quit unexpectedly, learn what to do.

If your device has a frozen screen, doesn't respond, or becomes stuck when you turn it on, learn what to do for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
