My iPhone started randomly freezing and restarting, I tried forced restart, resetting the network then all the settings. I cannot back it up on iTunes because of its constant restarting and I have updated it via iTunes on IOS16.2.1, however, the issue still appears. Can anyone help, I am desperate. Thank you.

It was impossible to back up everything and itunes did not work, i did icloud backup for the passwords, notes, messages, etc mailed the books I need and transferred the photos the old fashioned way to the computer. Took the risks but it was worth it.

Yes it does have its original battery, the maximum capacity is 83%
So the ultimate cause of the restarting is the battery? I will get it replaced then, hopefully, it will solve the problem. Thank you again for your helpful advice!
Lots and lots of people are facing this issue after 16.1 update.
No one is able to help online etc. Best is if you check with apple care
