Iphone Calendar wont show .eml attachments

Hello,

Were having an issue using the default Iphone Calendar app and viewing some attachments. We use office 365 and have exchange emails. We have been able to add this exchange account to the iPhone, emails and calendar events are syncing to the native mail app and native calendar app.

The issue we are seeing is that specifically .eml (files of a saved email) are not appearing as attachments in the calendar app. Looking at the calendar on a window device through outlook or through a web browser we can see the attachments no problem and other attachments such as text files, word, pdf, excel and others are showing up just fine in the native iPhone calendar app, its only the .eml files we do not see.

To be clear its not that we can not open these attachments its that they do not appear in the calendar event at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
