Video clips blown out when viewed in the timeline.

The video clip looks fine when imported into the browser. When inserted into the timeline, the video looks extremely over-exposed with the highlights completely blown out.

In the colour board, I have to drag the exposure/ highlight setting right to the bottom to get a reasonable video.

This has only recently happened. Is there some setting in the complex camera settings that is causing this problem? Videos are set to 1080p at 60fps. They play back fine in my iPhone 12.

It looks like you are using videos recorded as HDR in an SDR project.

The simplest way to deal with them is to add the "HDR Tools" effect to the clip in the timeline.

Spins like you’re shooting HDR. Make sure the project is set to wide gamut and the project is also set to HDR.
