How does the up-to-date "Pages" user install a check box in front of a sentence?

Pages is not a Word clone and does not have a Form design tool that would allow you to place a check box in front of a sentence. Interactive or otherwise.
Although one could alter a table to appear as though a check box preceded a sentence, it would need to be a one line sentence that fits in a rightmost table cell. If too long, and the sentence wraps in the cell, it will also distort the leading table cell serving as a checkbox. And unlike Apple's Numbers spreadsheet, Pages tables have no toggled cell checkbox format.
