AirPods connected notification bug

Every time I unlock my iPhone, I get the ‘AirPods connected’ notification (they were previously connected, so there is no need for it to be displayed). I am unable to access the Notification Center until it disappears from the screen. This started happening after the ios16 update, it must be a bug and should be fixed.

iPhone 13, iOS 16

I have tried this suggestion but this still happens. I've also removed the headphones from the device and set them up again and still no luck.

I would asume on iPhone 14 not to be an issue as this notification is handled by the Dynamic Island but on the notch model having this notification is frustrating. And also a rendering bug if you unlock the phone from a landscape view (like Youtube) and rotate it immediately the notifications is not rotated itself and is shown vertically and only half

Hello JoannaBanana98,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you need help with AirPods connected notifications. We completely understand why you'd reach out, and are happy to help.

We understand that you're seeing an alert that your AirPods are connected every few seconds while using them. It sounds like you can make some adjustments to the Settings. You can go to Settings > Bluetooth > AirPods > tap the (i). Under Connect to This iPhone, you can switch from Automatically to When last connected to this iPhone.

You can learn more about adjusting your AirPods settings here: Change the settings of your AirPods and AirPods Pro

We hope this helps.

Please have a look and let us know if this helps!

Cheers!
