Since recent iPhone update Bluetooth connection to hearing aid keeps disconnecting.

I wear hearing aids so being connected to iPhone and iPad via Bluetooth is important to me. I had no issue until the last update. Since then I spends hours trying to connect by following available instructions and iPhone May connect but iPad doesn’t, it keeps disconnecting so has to be done on a daily basis. have to be reconnected to Bluetooth daily. What do I need to do?

I’m having the same issue. I have new rechargeable Widex Moments (for a few months), and have had trouble keeping them paired with my phone since the 16.1.2 update. When I first turn them on in the morning, and when they lose connection, I go through the process of:

  • unpairing the HAs
  • restarting the phone
  • re-pairing the HAs


I’ve had to do this three times in the past two hours this morning. Once, the phone refused to pair — I got to the pairing step, got the pop-ups asking if I wanted to pair them, then it would freeze. (I put the phone in “Time Out” for a few minutes this time. 😉)


Hopefully, there will be a patch for this soon. 🤞🏼
