cannot display this video mode, change computer display input to 1920x1080@60Hz

I was playing around with my monitors refresh rate and I set the refresh rate to 30hz to see what happened, and to my surprise, the screen displayed,'cannot display this video mode, change computer display input to 1920x1080@60Hz.' Ive tried everything to change it back to 60hz and nothing has happened. I have a Phillips monitor.

someone please help!!!!

Hello subhan245,


Did you change the display settings on the computer or the actual monitor? If you changed a setting on the computer, you can access the display settings in System Settings > Displays.


Change Displays settings on Mac


If you changed the display settings on the actual monitor, then you'd want to change them back in whatever menu you originally changed them in.
