My current Dell monitor stop working with my mac book pro. I am receiving this message once my laptop connected to Dell and lid is open:
current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920x1080@60Hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications.
I need to shut down the lid to work with my mac book pro. Can you please advise how to fix this?

If you have more than one display, additional resolution options are available after the other display is connected.

Your solution does not work. When I want to use my dell monitor (which was working fine before) i get below error msg. I can only work with one monitor now (if i close mac book's lid) I started having this problem aftter i updated my computer to Venture.
Please help, it impacts my work and efficiency significantly.
I have a Dell S2721D monitor which worked fine before upgrading to Ventura 13.3. I cannot see the monitor in the display settings at all.
Were you able to fix this? I just got a new dell screen and I cannot connect my MacBook Pro to it. It has the same error message as your picture above.
