Dell monitor does not work with Ventura

My current Dell monitor stop working with my mac book pro. I am receiving this message once my laptop connected to Dell and lid is open:

current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1920x1080@60Hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications.

I need to shut down the lid to work with my mac book pro. Can you please advise how to fix this?

Hi gokhanomics,

For help with the alert you can test changing the resolution with the steps below found in the article here: Change your Mac display’s resolution

"Set the resolution for a connected display

If you have more than one display, additional resolution options are available after the other display is connected.

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Displays  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  2. Select the display you want to adjust, then select the resolution you want to use. You may be able to turn on “Show all resolutions” to see additional resolutions for the display."

You can also find helpful information here: If your external display is dark or low resolution - Apple Support

Cheers.
