Why does my camera show a black screen and not take pictures?

I have tired to update, shutdown and re-open the app. Nothing seems to work.

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 16

Black screen when using camera on 18.3.2 Has anyone else had issues with the camera on 18.3.2? Screen is black on both cameras but if a photo is taken it will show in images so I know the camera itself is working. Have tried force resetting etc with no luck.
