How to change aspect ratio when screen mirroring to Panasonic 4K OLED TV or Apple TV 4K (3rd generation, 2022)?

is it possible to change the aspect ratio so there are no black bars when screen mirroring the iPad Pro 4th Generation (2020) to a Panasonic 4K GZ950 OLED TV or the most recent Apple TV 4K? I tried on the TV but it said it isn’t available for that source.

Also, related to this question, is there a way to use a service like nVidia GeForce Now from an iPad Pro or MacBook Air M1 and screen mirror in highest resolution to either the Apple TV 4K (3rd generation, 2022) or the same TV instead of having to stay with the lower resolution when GeForce Now allows up to 4K HDR on some games? Also, if my iPad isn’t capable of playing 4K HDR videos could I send it up the TV and have it play in that format?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By definition, screen Mirroring to an external TV or monitor preserves the iPad’s screen aspect ratio - this being the image that is “mirrored” to the external screen. Unless your TV/monitor will scale the display to fill the screen top-to-bottom, you’ll see a border around the mirrored screen. If re-scaled, you will instead see black bars to the left and right.

Some TVs can “stretch” the display to eliminate borders, however, stretching the image to fit the monitor display will introduce distortion.
